What is a car wrap?
A vehicle wrap is a large vinyl graphic that can be applied to all or part of a car, van or truck cab – like a giant sticker. It’s a great way to advertise your services and get your brand name in front of a large audience. We can also change the color of your vehicle, at times less expensive and more flexible alternative than a custom paint job.
Why should I get my car wrapped?
You can reach a larger audience at one time. You pay only once but expose the audience to the advertisement for as many days as you like, so it is very cost effective. You don’t need to paint your vehicle after wrapping it, so it saves you those costs as well. It is easily removable, it is not permanent, so you can change the ad whenever you’d like.
Does it matter what color my car is currently if I want to wrap it?
No it doesn’t. A car wrap isn’t translucent, you can’t see through it so you can wrap any color vehicle as long as the paintwork is in relatively good condition.
How long do car wraps last?
If you follow our wrap care guidelines and properly maintain it, your wrap should last 5 years or more.
How do you wash a wrapped vehicle?
It is not recommended to take your wrapped vehicle through an automated carwash as the brush bristles can damage the vinyl and lift the edges. Hand washing with a soft sponge or cloth is much less abrasive and will help make your vehicle graphics last longer. You may also use a high quality wax for polishing, but we suggest you test this on a small patch of the wrap first before applying to the whole vehicle.
How do I know Platinum Wraps is better than other vehicle wrap shops? I want to be sure.

While we’re confident this will not happen, we’re also available to help if it does. All of Platinum Wraps work is backed by our written warranty available to all vehicles that we wrap. Simply contact your local Platinum Wraps location or call 800.881.6695 to schedule an appointment to bring your vehicle in and we will take care of any issue you may have with your wrap. Plus, rest assured, we won’t stop until we make it right. Because your complete satisfaction isn’t just a goal. It’s what motivates us.
Is my vehicle stored in-door, and is it insured?
A typical question from any concerned motorist. From the time you drop off to when you pick up your vehicle it is FULLY INSURED under our insurers. It is stored indoors over night if need arises in our secured compound. Most work is carried out indoors in our fitting warehouses, from our highly trained team of professionals.
Who carries cash anymore? Do you accept credit cards?
Of course we do! We accept all major credit cards at all location.
